On Wednesday, 31 December 2014, at night at around 2:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 163.11), a Subaru Forester ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Subaru (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was snowing, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
