On Thursday, 22 January 2015, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Marių street near No. 7A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
