On Friday, 23 January 2015, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 67), an Iveco AT440S43 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Iveco (28 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
