On Sunday, 25 January 2015, in the morning at 8:30, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Pirčiupiai–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 10.90), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Renault Megane Scenic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 38-year-old passenger of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
