On Wednesday, 21 January 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Pagrynių village, on Medžiotojų street, a Renault Laguna hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Renault (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
