On Sunday, 1 February 2015, in the afternoon at 15:40, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 274), a Ford Mondeo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
