On Friday, 30 January 2015, in the morning at 10:20, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Šalčininkai–Butrimonys–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 24.90), a Ford Transit rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.27‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
