On Tuesday, 3 February 2015, in the morning at 6:21, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Turgelių village, on Medininkų street near No. 3, a Mitsubishi Colt hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
