On Sunday, 8 February 2015, in the afternoon at 13:15, in Kaunas, on Kęstučio street near No. 55, a collision with a reversing vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Rover 75 and an Audi A2. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.60‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
