On Monday, 9 February 2015, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Nauradai–Naujamiestis–Krekenava regional road (kilometre 15.50), a Mitsubishi L 200 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
