On Tuesday, 10 February 2015, at night at around 23:00, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr., at the junction with Liepojos street, an Audi A4 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.00‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
