On Wednesday, 18 February 2015, in the evening at 19:03, in Klaipėda, on Kauno street near No. 25, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Daewoo Leganza. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
