On Friday, 27 February 2015, in the evening at 21:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 82.99), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 307 and a Chevrolet Nubira. Three people were injured — a 37-year-old passenger of the Chevrolet (hospitalized), the 37-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (treated as an outpatient) and a 7-year-old passenger of the Chevrolet (hospitalized). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
