On Saturday, 7 March 2015, in the evening at around 21:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Minijos street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.48‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
