On Wednesday, 11 March 2015, in the evening at 19:45, in Plungės district municipality, on P. Plechavičiaus street near No. 11, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Honda and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 44-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.73‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 44-year-old cyclist was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
