On Monday, 23 March 2015, in the afternoon at 15:35, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Gerviškių village, on the Šalčininkai–Butrimonys–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 12.20), a Mazda 323 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.45‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
