On Tuesday, 24 March 2015, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 66A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Marea Weekend and an Alfa Romeo 147. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Fiat (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
