On Sunday, 29 March 2015, in the evening at 18:34, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 66.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
