On Monday, 30 March 2015, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kaunas, on Birželio 23-iosios street, at the junction with Partizanų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Seat Cordoba, an Opel Zafira and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Seat (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
