On Tuesday, 31 March 2015, in the evening at 19:55, in Mažeikių district municipality, Naikių village, on Sodininkų street, at the junction with Sodų street, a Mitsubishi Galant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
