On Friday, 3 April 2015, in the morning at 7:40, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 43, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia and a Saab 9000. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Skoda (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
