On Wednesday, 8 April 2015, in the evening at 17:43, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Betygala–Šiluva regional road (kilometre 17.70), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
