On Friday, 17 April 2015, in the afternoon at 16:36, in Alytaus district municipality, Medukštos village, on Topolių street near No. 12, a Ford Focus hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
