On Saturday, 18 April 2015, at night at 0:20, in Kauno district municipality, Lapių town, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 7.60), a BMW 528 rolled over. One person was injured — the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
