On Sunday, 19 April 2015, at night at 0:31, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) national road (kilometre 217.40), an Audi 80 Avant rolled over. Two people were injured — a 18-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and a 18-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
