On Wednesday, 22 April 2015, in the evening at 19:30, in Šilutės district municipality, on Žalgirio street near No. 52, an Aprilia SR 50 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 17-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Aprilia, who failed to comply with road signs or markings.
