On Wednesday, 22 April 2015, at night at 23:43, in Vilniaus district municipality, Kalvelių village, on Vilniaus street, an Audi A6 Avant rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.66‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
