On Saturday, 25 April 2015, in the evening at 18:30, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Jonava–Žasliai–Kalniniai Mijaugonys national road (kilometre 40.60), an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.30‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
