On Monday, 27 April 2015, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Geležinio Vilko street near No. 28, an Audi A4 Avant hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 7-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc. and was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
