On Tuesday, 28 April 2015, in the evening at 18:09, in Druskininkų municipality, on Ringeliškės street near No. 12, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
