On Saturday, 2 May 2015, in the evening at 17:16, in Šilalės district municipality, Žadeikių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 244.15), a BMW 330I rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
