On Friday, 8 May 2015, in the evening at 17:10, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street, at the junction with V. Krėvės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz 1832 and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (28 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
