On Saturday, 9 May 2015, at night at 2:39, in Prienų district municipality, Alšininkų village, on the Šventininkai–Kalviai–Stakliškės regional road (kilometre 10.70), a Hyundai Galloper ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Hyundai (33 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.26‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
