On Sunday, 10 May 2015, in the evening at 18:40, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Skaistgiriai–Pušalotas regional road (kilometre 9.20), an Audi A4 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
