On Sunday, 10 May 2015, in the evening at 20:10, in Panevėžio district municipality, Pašilių II village, on Šilo street near No. 10, a Fiat Punto ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Fiat, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.59‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
