On Monday, 11 May 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėda, on Liepų street, at the junction with Artojo street, a BMW 525 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
