On Tuesday, 12 May 2015, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 29, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and a KIA Motors ED,cee'd. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
