On Saturday, 16 May 2015, in the evening at 18:50, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vievis–Kazokiškės–Paparčiai–Žasliai regional road (kilometre 10.20), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.46‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
