On Monday, 18 May 2015, in the evening at 17:20, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 40), a Toyota Yaris rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Toyota (a citizen of Russia) (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 120 km/h.
