On Monday, 18 May 2015, in the evening at 20:38, in Alytaus district municipality, Gluosninkų village, a Mitsubishi Pajero rolled over. Two people were injured — the 50-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 45-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.46‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
