On Tuesday, 19 May 2015, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kretingos district municipality, on Žemaitės al. near No. 29, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and an Opel Meriva. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
