On Sunday, 31 May 2015, at night at 0:30, in Plungės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 14, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 and a Citroen C3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi, who violated overtaking rules and failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.99‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
