On Thursday, 4 June 2015, in the evening at 19:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 88.60), a Yamaha YFB 700 Raptor hit an obstacle. One person was injured — the 25-year-old driver of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Yamaha (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
