On Saturday, 6 June 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Šilutės district municipality, on the Rusnė–Senoji Skirvytė regional road (kilometre 1.74), a Peugeot 607 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Peugeot (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
