On Wednesday, 10 June 2015, in the evening at 19:28, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 62.08), an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
