On Sunday, 14 June 2015, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street, at the junction with Šauklių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia and a Mazda 6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Skoda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
