On Saturday, 13 June 2015, at night at around 3:00, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Luokesa–Žalvariai–Žvyrinka regional road (kilometre 8.14), a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
