On Friday, 19 June 2015, in the morning at 9:35, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 101), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH12.420 registered in Russia and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volvo (a citizen of Russia) (8 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
