On Saturday, 20 June 2015, at night at 4:27, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 19.75), a Mazda 323 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
