On Sunday, 21 June 2015, in the afternoon at 11:21, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Tolkūnai–Miroslavas–Buckūnai regional road (kilometre 12.67), a Yamaha FZ 750 rolled over. One person died — the 23-year-old driver of the Yamaha. One person was injured — a 18-year-old passenger of the Yamaha (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Yamaha, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
